  3. Short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) from fiber fuel gut lining repair and improve insulin sensitivity by reducing inflammation and enhancing gut barrier integrity (De Groot et al., 2020).
  4. Vitamin D & Magnesium deficiencies are common in T1D, both of which are crucial for gut health and immune regulation (Ebeling et al., 2019).
