Last Monday, I met my new endocrinologist… and I loved her.
That’s not something I’ve said often. But as a 41-year-old woman who’s lived with type 1 diabetes for 33 years, this appointment felt like a hug I didn’t even know I needed. I left feeling heard, seen, and hopeful—a rare combination in a medical setting.
It got me thinking…
How do you feel about your care team right now?
Do you trust your practitioners?
Are you getting the kind of support that makes you feel safe and understood?
Or—maybe you know deep down that something needs to change… but between life, logistics, and exhaustion, making that shift just feels too overwhelming.
I get it. I’ve been there.
And if these questions have you reflecting on how you can better support your health goals, I want you to know something:
I’m here.
If my experience, training, and true desire to help can be part of your solution—I’d be honored to support you.
Especially if your journey has felt complicated, confusing, or like no one quite gets it. That’s my zone.
My own road with T1D has never been a straight line.
There’ve been curveballs—like mice eating my hypo snacks out of my nightstand (yes, really), or my insulin freezing on spring break, or lab results that send me down rabbit holes of research.
But through it all, I’ve built strategies.
Grounded in science, lived experience, and years of client success.
Strategies that can bring clarity, efficiency, and real, sustainable progress.
You don’t have to go it alone.
If something here resonates, reach out. I just might be the hug you didn’t know you needed.
With heart,
Kelly
