NEW RESEARCH ON VARYING HUNGER LEVELS

study published this week in Nature Metabolism found why some people struggle to lose weight, even on calorie-controlled diets, and highlight the importance of understanding personal metabolism when it comes to diet and health.

This research shows that people who experience big dips in blood sugar levels (as shown on their CGMs, woot!), several hours after eating, end up feeling hungrier and consuming hundreds more calories during the day than others.

KELLY’S ADVICE?

Health and weight loss aren’t a matter of calorie counting. Wellness is an art of knowing how, when, and what to eat that is unique to the person’s needs. Choosing foods that work together with your unique biology could help you feel fuller for longer and eat less overall. This is very much what I will be talking about in my 4-week Spring Reset.
