Want to drop a few lbs? Take an ice bath?!

Have you seen or read anything recently about taking an ice bath to lose weight? If not, now you know and please don’t put yourself through this misery to lose a little bit of weight. Instead there are other more pain-free avenues that can conveniently fit into your daily routine to meet your goal weight.

– Eat breakfast within 30 minutes of waking-up and make sure it’s rich in protein

Example: Greek yogurt with a small handful of crushed cereal, walnut pieces, cinnamon to taste & half banana.

– Drink 32 ounces of filtered water before you get to work

One way I do this is by drinking 2 bottles of water while working out in the morning or on more relaxed mornings while riding a stationary bike.

– Eat smaller meals and more snacks to stabilize blood sugars

Reduce the size of your meals and add fruit and a protein like string cheese, nuts, deli slice, lean pepperoni, etc for a morning and afternoon snack. You want to eat an amount of food where you have a sense of hunger every 3 hours or so.

– Move

If you don’t have the time or the money for a gym membership do a burst of squats, burpees and push-ups in the morning and/or evening.

Whatever you do, don’t cause pain or harm to yourself like taking an ice bath. Stay confident and focused with your goals and you’ll be amazed as to what can come. It may help to take actual measures to ensure your progress.

Cheers to you and good health!
