No Such Thing As a Diabetic Diet

Reminder: there is no such thing as a “diabetic diet.”⠀
⠀
But there is a diet that is BEST for YOU;⠀
one that works for your gut, ⠀
doesn’t include deprivation, and ⠀
one that is easy to be consistent with.⠀
⠀
Our gut/microbiome is as unique as our fingerprint and science is proving we aren’t necessarily what we eat, but we are what we absorb. If you have unaddressed food sensitivities (which can be very hard to pinpoint) you might not be absorbing all of your micronutrients.⠀
⠀
This is something I work with my clients on and something I have invested in for myself. I found out I am sensitive to celery (!!) and no doubt, your results will differ. But testing can give you the results to tailor your diet to best suit your body’s needs.⠀
⠀
Curious about what foods you’re intolerant too? Email me and I’ll get you set up with my MRT/LEAP Protocol testing.⠀

Growing up with Type 1 Diabetes has profoundly influenced my path, converting my personal struggles into a dedicated mission to uplift others navigating the same condition. My goal? Helping you move past managing your diabetes to a place where you’re confidently thriving—and where T1D is just a part of your story, not the whole thing.
