Camping Out At Home: Routines

As the future of social distancing is unknown, I have organized “Schmidt Camp,” at my house to keep my self sane and provide my kids with some structure so they can burn energy, understand their boundaries and progress in learning and more.

My favorite thing out of all of this is the family meals, followed by the reduced pressure to be somewhere by a certain time. I am not saying it’s worth the cost or fear, but I have found gratitude in our current norm.

Welcome to Schmidt Camp!

Please mimic or steal any of the ideas I have in placed and as my work ramps back up next week (this past week was Spring Break), I may find I need some adjusting.

Growing up with Type 1 Diabetes has profoundly influenced my path, converting my personal struggles into a dedicated mission to uplift others navigating the same condition. My goal? Helping you move past managing your diabetes to a place where you’re confidently thriving—and where T1D is just a part of your story, not the whole thing.
